Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 2026

Our commitment

MyMurry is committed to making our service accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across all pages and features of the application.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML landmarks and heading hierarchy throughout the app
  • All interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA standards
  • Images and illustrations include descriptive alternative text
  • Form inputs are labelled and associated with their controls
  • Error messages are descriptive and linked to the relevant field
  • Focus indicators are visible and clearly styled
  • Dark mode support for reduced eye strain

Known limitations

We're a small, early-stage product and are actively working to improve. The following areas are on our roadmap:

  • Full screen-reader testing across NVDA, VoiceOver, and JAWS
  • Some decorative Murry illustrations currently have minimal alt text - we plan to add richer descriptions
  • The hand-drawn annotation effects (rough notation) are visual only and do not have an audio/text equivalent yet

Third-party content

MyMurry uses Supabase Auth for authentication. The sign-in, sign-up, and account management UIs are built in-house with standard form controls, semantic labels, and keyboard navigation. If you encounter an accessibility issue, please let us know via the Feedback page.

Feedback

If you experience any barrier that prevents you from accessing MyMurry, please let us know. We take accessibility reports seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days.
